XBPS crimes

Some examples of how to write your own XBPS packages for Void Linux.

I should probably move this to /notes since it's not very good.

Scope

These are extra examples of XBPS usage; consider these complementary to xbps-src tutorials. I'm mainly interested in packaging software in non-standard ways that would DEFINITELY NOT be accepted in void-packages. These methods are primarily for personal usage.

Binary repackaging

• Zen browser - uses "distfiles" to fetch, and $FILESDIR to provide the icon and desktop file.

Makefiles

• uxn2 - by default, "make" runs the application, and "make install" puts it in ~/.local/bin. Also fetching via git.
